-Enjoying a second life, reliving adolescence, being cheeky, fulfilling life long dreams, friendly, happy.
-Represented as pitied, dependant or an economic burden, helpless and dependant on those around them.

Catherine Tate "Nan"

1.  She is stereotypical.
2.  She is stereotypical in the way that she moans about all of the little things in her life therefore abiding to the stereotypes of the older population.
3.  She contrasts heavily with the stereotype that old people are quiet and calm.
4.  Nan's outfit is representative of old age for example her cardigans and and old fashioned print dress. The room is also cluttered and decorated with doilies which are common objects associated with old age.
